Mr. E=Mystery?

Here at Pleasant Acres, our principal has a really long last name. Consequently, he is more commonly referred to as "Mr. E." Apparently, this is a wee bit confusing for young children who are still learning how to spell. Let me explain. When one of the first grade teachers was helping a student write a letter to Mr. E, she looked over his shoulder and found him addressing the letter to Misteree. Yeah, that's right. Mystery. They have no idea what abbreviations are and go ahead, say it out loud. That's exactly what it is. Mystery. The name of our principal. Or at least what 200 of Rantoul's youngest think is the name of our principal. Ha!
